Welcome to our first blog post on our new website!

We’re looking forward to our upcoming investigation at Pennhurst State Hospital – an extremely haunted institution for mentally disabled children in the Philadelphia, PA area. Freedom  Paranormal has reserved the Mayflower building at Pennhurst to conduct a private investigation on the night of June 19, 2016, and we’ll be joined by a few other select invited guests as well.

We’re excited to have the opportunity to control the environment around our investigation, to minimize interruptions and keep any evidence we collect untainted by noise or interference from public groups/tours.  Past experience has shown us that, although we have had some truly incredible personal experiences at places like Trans-Alleghany Lunatic Asylum and Waverly Sanatorium, being alone in the space and having strict control over who enters and exits is paramount to gathering clean, reliable evidence and recordings.

This trip will be our first opportunity to try out our new “seek” thermal imaging camera adapter (a little gift from Santa at the holidays!)  We can’t wait to see how it performs!

22 days and counting! Now.. if we can just keep ourselves from spending WAY more than we should on cool new gadgets for the trip.
